POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for the purchasing of low to moderate complexity goods and services to satisfy internal ADP needs and direct / production related client specific goods and services.
Actively negotiates pricing and supports Contracts team with developing and constructing national contracts and associated agreements, as needed.
Purchases on the spot acquisitions and manages key vendor relationships for the enterprise.
Advances the usage and efficiencies related to the Ariba Spend Management system.
Interacts with the related team members on a regular basis on developing and managing key catalogs.
Will be responsible for multiple administrative assignments on a yearly basis.
Responsibilities:
Actively negotiates and engages with Suppliers to obtain the best value for the company Interfaces with, and advises, Procurement clients regarding sourcing processes and timelines.
Assists clients to insure what is being sourced is best approach for company.
Ability to manage supplier relationships.
Ariba catalog management Ability to understand the Ariba Sourcing tool and use it effectively.
Corporate pCard administration Lead on American Express vPAY/BIP initiative Purchase Order and pCard reconciliation specialist Ariba e-invoicing onboarding lead Lead on Corporate account subscriptions QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Education & Experience 1 Year Directly Related Experience Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
Ability to manage relationships.
Ability to interact with all levels of internal clients and understand their needs.
Negotiation skills required Strategic sourcing knowledge & expertise Ariba tool expertise and e-sourcing knowledgeSalary:
