Office Automation Assistant

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector involving office automation work, which includes word processing, either solely or in combination with clerical work, when such work is performed in the context of general office clerical support and performing most or all of the duties such as the following:
1) Assist in the planning, organizing, assigning, and monitoring of daily work production within the department; 2) Operating computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar application to create, copy, edit, and print forms, memos and letters; 3) Reviewing correspondence for accuracy of grammar and format; 4) Utilizing databases or spreadsheets to create, enter, revise, sort, calculate and retrieve data for reports; and 5) Preparing correspondence including business letters, memoranda, directives, and reports. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
