PSI Pax is currently recruiting for Junior Help Desk Analysts to support our government customer in Norfolk, VA.
Essential Job Functions &
Responsibilities:
Junior Help Desk Analysts will provide 1st tier IT help desk services in support of our NGEN contract. They will work under direct supervision, and provide day-to-day remote PC break/fix support. They will be responsible for actively seeking resolutions to customer problems with designated product/service lines, interfacing with technical and in-house customer service personnel to determine exact nature of problems, and implementing remedial procedures. Help Desk Analysts will typically be responsible for resolving less complex problems immediately, while more complex problems will be assigned to second tier support, a senior operator, or supervisor. They will also document problems and corrective procedures followed.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to respond to and resolve IT customer inquiries
Strong interpersonal and communication skills as needed in a customer service environment
Ability to demonstrate proper telephone etiquette
Ability to follow procedures and maintain an accurate log of inquiries and concerns
Some experience with MS Office, Outlook and Windows 7
Ability to work different shifts, overtime, some weekends and holidays
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma
A
or Security
Certification
Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of experience with a commercial trouble ticketing system (such as Remedy)
Some college coursework and/or IT certification program completed
In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
