Pipefitters
We have immediate needs for journeyman level pipefitters to work in the ship repair industry on long term assignments with several of our clients throughout the Hampton Roads area. Pay rate ranges from $20.00 up to $33.00 D/O/E and Contract.
Requirements include:
- Must have 5
yrs. exp. in the ship repair industry
- Knowledgeable in various types of shipboard piping systems to include high & low pressure steam, potable water & firemains.
- Experienced in reading and interpreting blue prints.
- Ability to calculate pipe bends, thread pipe and make piping runs.
- Must be able to fit up joints using Chill or EB rings
- Must be able to tack weld using 7018 or 6010.
- Must have resume, proof of US Citizenship
