Performs MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages.
Maintains patient safety.
Job
Responsibilities:
Prepares and checks patients prior to MRI procedure.
Acquires patient questionnaire, chart, data/requisition and reviews all to determine contraindication of having MRI examination.
Verifies and validates patient screening safety form.
Performs MRI procedures required per protocol and performs daily QA.
Performs VNA punctures and maintains competencies.
Educates patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment and exam.
Ensures patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
May assist with scheduling of patients as needed.
Administers proper contrast related to patient having MRI exam.
Acquires, archives, transmits and prints images via PACS.
When applicable, completes after hours transmission of images and appropriate paperwork.
Immediately reports any malfunctions; observes potential equipment dysfunctions and reports problems or calls for service.
Maintains available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility.
Knowledgeable in billing via RIS.
Provides instruction and mentoring to new hires and Radiology students.
Learns new technical information and skills.
Attends in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions.
May be required to rotate through all imaging modalities, sites, and/or locations.
Other duties as assigned.
Education:
HS Diploma/GED.
Experience:
Minimum one year experience or experience in other imaging modalities preferred.
CPR certification required.
Must complete certification in MRI within one year of position acceptance.
Physical Requirements:
Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
Requires frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds.

All candidates meet initially with someone from the our Company Group HR team, either by telephone or in person, to further review background and qualifications and to discuss the specific requirements of the position.
Case interview.
The case interview will be with one of our consultants or research team members and will address skills and experience.
Additionally, structured thinking, intellectual curiosity, collaborative style and drive for results are evaluated.
Interview cases are typically drawn from the interviewers' experiences and may include specific scenarios for those candidates with a focused background.
Final interviews.
Final interviews take place in one of our office locations and consist of a round of meetings that include several senior members of our leadership team.
Those meetings provide you with the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about our culture and environment and meet our people face to face.
We typically make offer decisions shortly after the final round of interviews.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
