Job Posting Sentara Norfolk General Hospital has openings for Flexi Cardiovascular Tech students in the Cath and EP labs. Note these are flexi positions for qualified students per the below job summary.
Job Description
Education: Current student of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology in good standing.
Experience: Satisfactory completion of freshman semester in an accredited school of cardiovasculartechnologywith an instructor recommendation for student employment.
Licensure: Current BLS and ACLS. Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Must be able to lift, push or pull more than50 lbs., perform difficult manipulative skills, and perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination and arm-hand steadiness. Must be able to walk sit, stoop, stand extensively, and visually discriminate close objects, colors and hear normal sounds.
Other:Must have completed enough clinical hours in an accredited cardiovascular technology program that the student may use employed hours towards graduation requirements.
