The candidate performs a variety of paraprofessional duties in corporate and commercial real estate transactions. Prepares necessary legal documents that may include disclosure schedules, HUD settlement statements, deeds, loan closing documents, and corporate authorization documents. Maintains detailed and accurate daily billable hour records. Review Purchase Agreements, lenders instructions, and prepare closing checklist. Obtain title commitments, review and understand content, and follow up on title requirements. Organize files and documents for closing. Draft deeds, sellers affidavits, bill of sale, assignment of leases, entity authorization documents and closing documents. Draft table of contents and assemble closing binders. Coordinate closings with multiple parties. Review Purchase Agreements and prepare closing checklists and disclosure schedules. Draft bills of sale, stock certificates, assignment documents, and other closing documents. Prepare entity formation documents and obtain certificates of qualification and good standing. Obtain lien searches and prepare UCC financing statements. Prepare files and documents for execution and closing. Prepare closing transcripts. The candidate should preferably have a Paralegal Certificate. Should have 3
years of experience in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Knowledge of general legal terminology and legal principles generally acquired through college-level study essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Specialty-related software such as real estate settlement programs beneficial. Knowledge of customary practices relating to practice area needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
