Job Description Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is currently recruiting for a Team Leader, Registration.Must have flexibility to work holidays, every other weekend and availability to cover various shifts.

Job Description:
Serves as a working/technical resource to team members. The team leader is responsible for assisting the Team Coordinator in daily department operations. The team leader will serve as a communication conduit between internal and external customers. Specific duties may include but are not limited to hospital policy compliance, payment requirements, customer service, scheduling, management of supplies, orientation/preceptor of new employees. Assists as chief retention officer to develop a highly effective work team.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one to two years experience in hospital or medical setting preferred, or other transferable skills.
Experience:
Customer service experiences. Previously worked in a fast pace environment. Previous experience in meeting deadlines, multi-tasking and exceeding customer satisfaction. Ability and skills to partner with clinical staff.
Other: Excellent communication and team building skills, demonstrated organization and work management skills, critical thinking skills. Computer keyboard skills. Knowledge of standard software applications preferred.(ie Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
