Principal Duties: - Organizes and produces responses to discovery requests, drafts
answers to interrogatories, and develops responses to requests for
production.
Identifies internal contact persons, obtains witness statements and,
assists in the preparation of affidavits.
Drafts procedural pleadings and communicates with clerks of state
and federal courts and regulating agencies to assure compliance with
procedural requirements and local rules of practice. - Performs legal research using various web-based sites on topics such
as abandonments, bankruptcy, collections, intellectual property,
patents, environmental matters, subpoenas, and various court filings.
Prepares right of entry agreements & follows up with divisions,
renewals, amendments, and assists with FRA matters.
Organizes and produces Board of Director committee meeting materials
for the corporation and subsidiaries and works with the Tax
Department to coordinate like-kind exchange programs.
Maintains litigation files and handles litigation holds. Prepares
Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, and performs
administrative activities in support of legal issues surrounding
employee benefits.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
