Job Title: Sanitation Worker
Location: Norfolk, VA
Shift: Monday - Friday
Training Schedule: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Training hours)
Regular Shift Hours: 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM
Hourly Rate: $16 per hour
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Sanitation Workers in Norfolk, VA. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment. The primary responsibilities include janitorial duties, sanitation practices, and adherence to food safety standards.
Responsibilities of Sanitation Workers:
Janitorial cleaning of offices, bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
Operation of floor scrubbing machinery.
Sweeping walkways and foyer to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
Utilize proper sanitation practices to clean kettles and surfaces in contact with food.
Clean and sanitize conveyor belts according to established standards.
Follow all procedures for sanitizing food areas to maintain compliance.
Requirements of Sanitation Workers:
Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation.
Previous janitorial experience.
Preferred experience in food sanitation.
Understanding of food sanitation practices.
High school diploma or GED.
Physically capable of performing tasks that may include moving, bending, reaching, and climbing.
