Tax Associate

Description & RequirementsAs a Tax Associate at FORVIS, you will gain valuable experience, use your critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems, and apply your social skills to build rewarding business relationships.
You will have the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of industries as you develop your technical skills and strengthen the foundation on which you will build your career.
You will also work alongside our senior staff and management personnel, learning from their experience as you develop your skill set.
How you will contribute:
Providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities with an emphasis on companies operating in the manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services and technology, and financial institutions industries Helping to develop and manage client relationships Providing timely and unmatched client service and exceeding client expectations Representing FORVIS in the marketplace and at networking events Participating in the proposal process for potential new clients We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
Solid technical accounting knowledge Effective time management Ability to work well with a team as well as independently A problem-solving attitude Willingness to take initiative Precise attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines Strong oral and written communication skills Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or related field CPA license or have secured the educational requirements to satisfy the 150-credit hour requirement necessary to obtain a CPA license.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred
Qualifications:
