As a Contracted QMHP, you will provide mental health services at a time that best suits your clients needs and your availability.
You will assist individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses in receiving the appropriate care needed to maintain an active, healthy, engaged, and satisfying lifestyle.
Fulfilling your service contract's general requirements will allow you and EPCS to positively impact the lives of those living in the communities we serve! You can RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES EPCS is seeking a board-registered Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-A) to assist our agency with providing excellent, quality, and impactful Mental Health Skill-Building Services to individuals throughout Hampton Roads.
Under the supervision of our Mental Health Skill-Building Services Coordinator, the QMHP will provide goal-directed services to individuals diagnosed with mental illness seeking to enhance their ADLs and improve their independent and symptom management skills.
The QMHP will provide mental health services as identified and documented in the individual's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
The QMHP will coordinate discharge and aftercare plans, providing linkage and transition of care to community-based services and supports.
The QMHP will promptly complete all related clinical documentation in accordance with DMAS, MCO, and agency policies, i.
e.
, daily Progress Notes, Quarterlies, ISPs, Service Authorizations, and Discharge Summaries.
The QMHP will communicate appropriately with referring agencies and others involved with the individual's care.
The QMHP will provide services in accordance with state regulations and EPCS policies.
The QMHP will participate in clinical supervision.
The QMHP will attend orientation and in-service training as state regulations and agency policies require.
The QMHP will provide and maintain updated credentials and adhere to all registration and CEU-related requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A.
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related fields (Social Work, Human Services Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Special Education, etc.
).
A minimum of one (1) continuous year of demonstrated full-time clinical experience.
Experience may include internships, practicum, and volunteer experience.
Prior experience with electronic documentation and knowledge of DMAS and DBHDS regulations is preferred.

Ability to be flexible and think critically, and problem-solve.
