Dell is looking for a group of gNodeB OAM CO-OP SW developer to take part in a once in a career opportunity to be part of building something from scratch and shepherding it into the marketplace.
What you'll achieve:
As a gNodeB OAM CO-OP Software developer you will be a valuable member in a team with overall ownership for the gNodeB OAM software, be a valuable member of a brand new, built from the ground up, high powered Ottawa R&D team.
The team will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing a technology new to Dell for addressing the demands of the 5G Radio subsystem for operators and to help our customers to exploit this significant market evolution.
The candidate for this role will have the desire to learn and willingness to be part of a community build on trust and respect, together working to build high quality 5G RAN software product! From applied research to advanced engineering, Dell's 5G R&D team will design and develop ground-breaking products & solutions, as a first-ever go-to-market for Dell in this space.
It's a fascinating field of work.
You will be involved in assessing the competition, developing technology and products and generating intellectual property.
Your contributions will drive product architecture and implementation in support of building something from the ground up, all while working with colleagues across the business to ensure Dell products always lead the way.
You Will:
Work with senior team members to implement and test of key 5G O-RAN based OAM features, and integrate them with the gNB and EMS system Attend and participate in design discussion to develop implementation plan Implement functional areas of the OAM, per implementation plan Work closely with the verification group to ensure the completeness, quality and performance of the implemented OAM functionality.
Essential Requirements:
Organized, goal-oriented self-starter; with a team focused mentality Excellent problem-solving skill and possess a can-do attitude Hands on C/C+
knowledge, good understanding of OO, pointers, functions, threads, process, etc.
Basic understanding of 5G O-RAN, O1 interface and FCAPS capabilities Desired Requirements:
Current student in Computer Science or computer engineering program Hands-on experience gained through internship/co-op involving C/C+
