$60,000 to $65,000 Craig Technologies is ready to hire a Test Technican for the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat System delivered to the United States Navy (USN) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Submarine fleet.
You'll be a member of a close-knit team that is passionate about delivering the best product to the Navy to help protect our country.
Our team works closely with the Submarine community to develop solutions that allow the Navy to carry out high-stakes national security missionsUS Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) experience is REQUIRED.
As a member of the Test team, you'll be working in an Agile environment, working with the MBSE Lead to:
Conducting subsystem and system of systems testing at our location and othersWorking in an Agile environment with engineers across the program to verify our deliveries to the NavyAnalyzing how our software meets system, functional and performance requirementsInstalling test bays and troubleshooting anomaliesCommunicating and proactively resolving issues with engineers from other subsystems to determine where issues lie and how we can address them as a project teamWhat we want you to bring to our team:
Must have strong US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician experienceFormal testing experience on a DoD production delivery environmentExperience working proactively with local and remote test team membersSolid verbal and written communications skills using Microsoft Office productsExperience with testing in an Agile development environmentAbility to travelKnowledge of requirements management and system modeling toolsWorking knowledge of test engineering concepts, principles, and theoriesWhat will set you apart:
Experience working in the SWFTS submarine communityCommunication among your peers and up the chainRecognition of relevant information, and clear communication of issues and alternatives Associates degree in a related discipline , or a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience).
Security Clearance requirements:
Department of Defense active SECRET security clearance is REQUIRED at time of hire.
