Unified Women's Healthcare in a partnership with Mid-Atlantic Women's Care is seeking an Director of Imaging.
The MAIC Director of Imaging Operations is responsible for oversight of all day-to-day operating needs and related activities of the breast imaging business units for the six Mid-Atlantic Imaging Centers (MAIC) throughout the Virginia Beach and Norfolk locations.
Provides direct supervision of Clinical Supervisor and Front Office Lead at each location.
Provides operating oversite to ensure all aspects of practice activities are completed including but not limited to daily entries of insurance/patient receivables, charge entry, mammography and ultrasound scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and routine office operations.
Ensures scheduling of technologist coverage for all sites, anticipating operational problems with planned preventive measures, arranging for repairs of equipment/phone/cable and other technological components to ensure minimal to no down time of operations.
Manages status of all required licenses and regulatory permits/certifications, including but not limited to State, DHH, CMS, OSHA, ACR, and FDA.
Provides oversight of QA activities and database of technologist and radiologist credentials.
In conjunction with lead physicians, coordinate the monthly MAIC committee meetings and agendas with quarterly financial and operational report outs to the Clinical Governance Board (CGB).
Along with leadership, develop and implement improvement strategies and growth goals that improve the patient and provider experience for each location.
Enables growth of the business unit through the identification of new breast imaging opportunities and assists in the development of business plans to drive new opportunities and increased revenue while building new partnerships necessary to meet these growth goals.

The selected candidate must reside in the Norfolk Virginia Beach area as a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain professional relationships with MAWC providers, imaging center staff, care center managers.
Partner with care centers to continually improve imaging center operations and patient volume through regular meetings and touch points with care center managers.
Financial monitoring of imaging center locations and accountable for development of improvement plans.
Direct oversight breast center staff scheduling with assistance from Clinical Supervisor and/or Front Office Lead.
Prepares weekly/monthly financial and patient volume reporting for physicians, UMAMS, and MAIC committee members.
Performs employee performance reviews and progressive discipline if needed.
Responds to and arranges emergency coverage of technologists and front office staff.
Document accreditation renewal requirements and assist with ensuring all installations remain compliant with state and federal entities.
Serves as key resource for MQSA, FDA and ACR and individual state requirements.
Provide supporting documentation for ACR and MQSA regulations and ensure all sites have current information.
Assists in the development and implementation of Policies & Procedures.
Assist PACS administrator vendor when needed.
Monitor maintenance and repair of equipment.
Work directly with Clinical and Front Office Supervisor in hiring and mentoring of staff.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or healthcare related field ARRT Certification in Radiology and Mammography or RDMS certified in Breast Ultrasound Minimum two years' experience in an outpatient or inpatient imaging management or director position.
Previous experience as a mammography or breast ultrasound technologist.
Regular travel to imaging centers required, some travel outside Virginia required ( 10%).
Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt style for most effective results.
Familiar with outpatient practice procedures, including EMR and PACS workflow experience.
Experience working with integrated patient scheduling and billing systems preferred.
Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively in group and one on one settings.
Results-orientated individual possessing a strong record of success.
Resourceful approach to problem-solving, demonstrating critical thinking skills.
Excellent project, time management skills.
Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
