Summary:
Epsilon Systems Solutions is currently seeking a contingent full time IPTD Training Specialist II in San Diego, CA.
In support of the RMC Enterprise, CNRMC support personnel will perform/support tasks that require an advanced level of knowledge in Surface Ship Repair and Modernization requirements.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Instructors serve as the RMC Enterprise Project Team Integrated Test Engineer SME.
Lead the delivery of CNRMC WFD PT Specific courses IAW developed curriculum across the RMC Enterprise as required by the CNRMC WFD LRTP.
Lead instructors are expected to adapt instructional strategies to meet student needs using a variety of instructional strategies to meet different learning styles.
Effectively communicate technical information with senior engineers, technicians, PM's, and maintenance team personnel.
Plan, organize and facilitate technical meetings.
Review and evaluate work specifications based on technical risk and the quality management plan for the assigned availability.
In accordance with JFMM, provide support in engineering, technical, structural, electrical, and mechanical in alignment with the mission of Commander Naval Regional Maintenance Centers.
Candidate will use their C4I/Combat Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, and Naval Architecture expertise to support in planning, development, and execution oversight of surface ship availability integrated test plans and work certification.
Provide oversight of surface ship repair planning, development and execution of availability Integrated Total Ship Test Plans (ITSTP).
This oversight includes review of contractor-developed deliverables and review, revision, development, management, and execution of availability ITP as required by NAVSEA Standard Item 009-67 (Manage Integrated Total Ship Testing).
Required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 years' experience with Navy Surface Ship Repair and Modernization and Regional Maintenance Center Project Team Roles and Responsibilities Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering classroom instruction.
Minimum 5 Years' experience with COMUSFLTFORCOM INST 4790.
3, Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM); 5 Years Navy Maintenance Database (NMD); 5 Years NAVSEA Contracting Policy/Strategy; 5 Years Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) Project Team Roles/ Responsibilities; 5 Years NAVSEA Standard Items (NSI).
Sound interpersonal skills needed to interface, coordinate with company personnel, customers, and outside contacts.
Exceptional organization skills with high attention to detail.
Advanced time management and analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance ADA Notations:
Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.
Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
Must be able to get up and down ladders and in tight spaces where required.
