340B Program Analyst

GENERAL SUMMARYThe 340B Analyst assists the 340B Program Administrator in maintaining a compliant 340B Program at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
Reports to 340B Program Administrator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates with 340B Program Administrator in maintaining up to date 340B policies and procedures as well as provides expertise and training with the 340B Program to staff and participants regarding ongoing compliance.
Corrects any system failures discovered to help ensure the 340B-GPO Prohibition program integrity and compliance with program regulations.
Results identified as areas of improvement are to be presented to the 340B Oversight Committee for discussion and resolution.
Performs maintenance of split billing software including NDC exceptions, physician exceptions, accrual issues, and NDC-CDM mismatches.
Utilizes systems in place to identify accumulations to be reversed due to insurance changes.
Assists the 340B Program Administrator in special projects and reports as needed.
Collaborates with IS pharmacists and pharmacy revenue integrity specialist when billing and accumulation issues occur.
Uses Office of Pharmacy Affairs Information System for 340B pricing verification and registration accuracy.
Keeps current with changes and legal issues of the 340B Program.
Participates in the Apexus educational webinars in addition to vendor 340B education opportunities.
Attendance at the 340B Coalition Meeting as management permits.
Perform other duties as assigned LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS Pharmacy Technician Certification per Virginia Board of Pharmacy regulations required 340B On-Demand certificate preferred.
Certificate within 6 months of hire required.
340B Apexus Certified Expert certificate preferred.
Certification within 18 months of hire required MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS HS diploma or equivalent required.
Associates Degree preferred.
Minimum 4 years of pharmacy experience required.
2 or more years of hospital and/or pharmacy purchasing experience preferred.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
High level of attention to detail and has excellent self-motivation, good decision-making and investigative skills.
The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of people, both orally and in writing required.
WORKING CONDITIONSPharmacy employees work in or near a clinical patient care environment with minimal exposure to hazards such as excess noise, dust, or extremes in temperature.
Minimal or occasional exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations and other conditions common in a healthcare environment.
Minimum adverse working conditions related to the proximity and services of the clinical healthcare services.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
