Qualified Mental Health Professional
Behavioral Health Services of Virginia is a leading provider of mental health care in Virginia.
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a 1:
1 with individuals struggling with mental health.
The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Most importantly, the candidate must have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those they serve.
Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health record system Participate in team meetings and case consultations Educate clients and families on mental health diagnoses and treatment options Manage crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions as needed Requirements Bachelor in Human Services or a related field QMHP registration(s) with Virginia Board of Counsling Knowledge of community resources and ability to link consumers to needed services.
