Will be working 40-60 hours per week.
Must pass background investigation, be a US Citizen able to obtain access to multiple shipyards on the East Coast - no clearance required.
General Description:
responsible for the coordination of all engineering, purchasing, scheduling, and subcontract work, including managing the day-to-day efforts of tradesmen assigned to the project.

Responsibilities:
Ensure safe work conditions in production areas.
Coordinate with management, owners and yard personnel to discuss and resolve issues related to specifications of projects and scope of work to be performed to ensure all milestones, budgets, operating costs, reliability, and planning are met.
Prepare compartment completion lists and ensure departments are working in proper sequence of construction while in compliance with safety, environment, quality and efficiency.
Plan, organize and direct activities concerned with the projects feasibility and problem areas that may occur in the construction process.
Ensure that all established production procedures are aligned with ship requirements, domestic and international law, and regulation policies and procedures.
Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints and project issues.
Monitor accuracy of reporting and status of project cost and schedules Desired Skills:
Background in Habitability or alteration installation.
Good leadership and management skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to plan safe and cost effective work.
Computer literacy in personal computer and systems.
