The Maintenance Technician will work with our talented maintenance team to handle the day-to-day maintenance of our 100 unit multi-family apartment community.
The duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
Complete turn-over process of vacant apartments as directed.
Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
Coordinate special projects as directed.
Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
Complete grounds work as directed which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas, and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas.
Responsible for alerting Management of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that has or may occur.
Complete payroll timesheets and mileage reimbursement and submit to Management as necessary to ensure proper compensation.
Accountable for adhering to safety standards in compliance with all company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
The ideal candidate will possess 2
years of related experience in a multi-family apartment community.
Must have a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and/or appliance repair.
EPA Universal certification is required.
English and Spanish speaking a plus.
Must have reliable transportation and your own tools.
All employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance and must be able to interface with our residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees in a courteous manner.
Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays when necessary and to cover on-call emergencies.
This position requires occasional lifting of 50-100 lbs.
and frequent lifting of 10-50 lbs.
