Position
Summary:
The Technical Analyst 2 will provide high-level technical support and systems analysis to identify, prevent, and resolve networks and systems issues.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise to support and maintain continuity of computer systems and networks.
Monitor systems usage and needs.
Research, identify and recommend software and applications that will improve systems and networks performance and capabilities.
Research, identify, and recommend new hardware, software, and applications to support future and/or complex C4ISR management information systems (MIS) needs.
Recommend and implement policies and practices to maximize resource utilization.
Take a lead role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the data recovery aspects of disaster recovery plans.
Maintain knowledge on developments, trends, and best practices in technology and DoD networks.
Education:
BS degree in Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Psychology (NOTE:
acceptable only if degree included courses in Human Systems Interface (HSI) and Human Factors Engineering (HFE)) or Engineering.
Requirements &
Qualifications:
Three (3) years of experience in technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking.
Three (3) years of experience translating user needs and functional requirement documents into specific design implementations.
Three (3) years of experience and demonstrated knowledge of a wide range of quantitative, qualitative, analytical, and evaluative methods of systems analysis to assess HSI and HFE elements relating to project objectives.
Three (3) years of experience in conducting evaluations from inception to completion, including the identification of measurement methods, subjects, collection and analysis of data, and documentation of results.
Three (3) years of experience in conducting usability studies and research design as it relates to product development.
US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance is required.
