Position
Summary:
The Training Specialist 4 will conduct the research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepare appropriate training curriculums, train personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or computer based/computer aided training and as required provide mobile training team events that include On-The-Job training onsite and offsite.
Will develop and update training documentation, user guides, and training plans.
Responsibilities:
Develop/update training materials and curriculum to support C4ISR equipment/systems, specifically for CANES, CANES Subs and ADNS programs.
Coordinate and provide input to project schedules for training events.
Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support during training sessions and evaluate and response to Casualty Report (CASREPs).
Provide advanced knowledge in identifying training needs and recommend advanced training solutions by working with military and government stakeholders.
Provide advanced knowledge and guidance on the structure and improvements of the onsite and/or in-house training classes and seminars.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant and highly advanced training trends and technology.
Identify training gaps affected by technical change packages.
Mentor and coach less-experienced trainers.
Education:
Technical Training in Naval electronics and communications equipment and systems.
Requirements &
Qualifications:
Fifteen (15) years of experience in training Navy Shipboard Networks to include Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), Integrated Shipboard Network System (ISNS), Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS), Automated Digital Network Switching (ADNS), Operation Rolling Tide (ORT) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Networks Training.
Experience should include defining training requirements and training development in accordance with the Navy Education and Training Command (NETC) End-to-End training development process, use of Navy Authoring tools (CPM/LOM, AIM, etc.
) to develop training Navy training curriculum, and application of Instructional System Design (ISD) process.
Experience equivalent with Navy Master Training Specialist (NEC 9502) is desired.
Experience working closely with Subject Matter Experts and Navy military and civilian personnel.
Ability to discuss operational concepts related to C4ISR emerging technologies (CANES, ADNS, NMS, etc.
) Experience in developing criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
Experience in creating instructor guides/teaching outlines in conformance with selected instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of training methods.
Must be comfortable teaching in a classroom environment.
US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance is required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
