Quick Apply Full-time Part-time 1 day ago Full Job Description QPPMH (Qualified Para-Professional Mental Health) OPPORTUNITY We Care Support Services, LLC is seeking Full and Part-Time, Qualified Paraprofessionals who have worked in the Human Services/Mental Health field.
This position will provide individualized support and guidance to assist with daily life challenges.
The paraprofessional will work under the supervision of the QMHP-A.
The paraprofessional will work with the title of QPPMH (Qualified Para-Professional Mental Health).
They provide individualized support and guidance by providing a goal-directed training called Mental Health Skills-Building Services (MHSS)- to individuals to achieve and maintain community stability and independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment.
Mental Health Skills-Building Services (MHSS)-provides adult supportive services, daily living skills training, medication management assistance, independent living skills, community service coordination, healthy relationship support establishing daily routines, budgeting assistance, social skills training, and coping skills training.
Qualifications:
Education, and Experience Education:
Associates Degree in a related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling) and at least.
Must have (one) 1 year of experience providing direct services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness.
Or, licensed as an occupational therapy assistant, and supervised by a licensed occupational therapist, with at least one year of experience providing direct services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness; Or has a minimum of 90 hours of classroom training and 12 weeks of experience under the direct personal supervision of a QMHP-A providing services to individuals with mental illness and at least one year of experience (including the 12 weeks of supervised experience).
WECSSLLC defines the relevant experience for this position as:
Experience providing services in a community or facility setting, preparing clinical documentation (daily, weekly, and monthly progress notes), and assisting individuals with meeting their personal goals and objectives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (not inclusive):
Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to complete required documentation within deadlines Ability to respond appropriately to aggressive behaviors with least restrictive interventions Strong written and spoken communication skills Proficient personal computer operations skills including Word, Excel Previous case management and documentation related experience Job Types:
