Position Description Program Manager If you love high profile and fast paced logistics program management project supporting the US Navy- Serco has a great opportunity for you! This Naval Forces Logistics Contract will be on a dynamic team, providing logistics analyst and reporting and data mining systems integration at Multiple locations across the Country and around the World and managed out of our Virginia Beach, Virginia location. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our Sailors and Marines. The PM performs overall administration and management of all contract activities. Primary point of contact for communication with Government Program Manager and COR. The Program Manager shall have a working knowledge of Navy logistics, AISs, business processes, processing modules, segments, and management reports. In this role, you will:
Provide logistics reports and updates to US Navy customer Distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly logistics financial and service (perfect order) metrics to Supply Chain leadership team. Perform root cause analytics and provide actionable improvement plans to drive efficiency and/or service improvements with internal and external partners Provide recommendations on next steps to solve complete supply chain challenges. Support Logistics optimization efforts by identifying Communicate with and influence external partners to ensure effective order fulfillment Provide input to Senior Management from Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, etc. on trends and logistics data Provide support and coverage for Global Supply Chain Support Team Maintain various industry bench-marking metrics and analysis Perform ad-hoc analysis and other job-related duties as assigned Have reliable transportation to the assigned work location in Norfolk, Virginia. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have:
An Active Secret Clearance One to two years of working experience with the Navy or Marines. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline. A minimum of eight years of experience in a combination of Navy logistics and Navy logistics AISs management. Education Equivalency:
As a substitute, eight years of experience in a combination of Navy and logistics and AISs management. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
